Ready for a full focused workout at home with personal trainers? It’s easier than you think!

Xhilarate Fitness is the answer. Mike Lenox and Nick Elliot teamed up to bring the community LIVE group workouts on Zoom.

No doubt, due to the pandemic your favorite gym was forced so shut down. Mike and Elliot wanted to continue to support their clients as well as the community in some way with one thing in mind “how can we serve” during these crazy times.

Many gyms are offering classes on Zoom at this time, but one thing sets Xhilarate apart, personalization and customization. Form is essential to a good workout and this duo works in tandem. Once conducting the workout while the other has eyes on the participants on the screen allowing to monitor for range of motion, proper form to prevent injury and of course holding you accountable!

All workouts are done using a ’tabata-style’ format which consists of 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest, allowing everyone to go at their own pace. Those who are more conditioned can do an advance version of the exercise and use a quicker pace, thus creating more intensity. Simplicity is key and usually just 3 exercises are incorporated into the workout. Too many things to remember can create unnecessary challenges. In addition, through demonstrating and coaching the proper movement of the exercise, the repetition allows you to create better movement patterns. The repetition also allows for significant volume to create a response for the body. The body doesn’t change/grow by just doing something 1-2 times. It takes repetition, a lot of repetition! All classes are 45 minutes in length.

Zoom has proven to be a great platform for Xhilarate Fitness to make this happen. So far, they have had phenomenal feedback about the workouts and will soon be rolling out membership specials.
